Providing a Quality Management System
DMR have been ISO 9001:2008 certified since 2012 and more recently received ISO 9001:2015 accreditation in 2015. Quality is something that is taken very seriously at DMR. However, it should be noted that implementing ISO 9001 is not an easy task. Some may think that once certification has been passed, then the hard work is over; this couldn’t be further from the truth. Once the Quality Management System is up and running, then it is vital that all activities are performed to the required standard.
Developing procedures is much easier than implementing them. It is easy to write procedures but the hard work really starts with ensuring that the procedures are understood, that staff are trained adequately and that they then follow them correctly. These then need to be monitored and measured since this will provide key information on the status of the procedure within the QMS.
One of the most important principles behind ISO 9001:2015 is that the customer focus is demonstrated through monitoring and measuring customer satisfaction. This can only be successfully accomplished once the internal and external issues of the business are fully understood. Having relevant information on how the customers perceive DMR is the catalyst for further development of what we have to offer. From that, we are then able to set and monitor risks, opportunities and objectives at all levels.
Our customers can feel safe in the knowledge that working with us means that they are receiving the goods and services at the very highest of standards.
